In July 2019, comedy legend Larry Charles (Seinfeld, Borat) paid a visit to Tulsa to screen and discuss his directorial debut "Masked & Anonymous" (2003) starring co-writer Bob Dylan, John Goodman and Penélope Cruz. Confounding audiences and critics alike on its initial release, the film remains oddly prescient in its subversive depiction of a post-political society seeking refuge in the pablum of government conspiracies and false security of authoritarianism. In this clip, Charles talks about the origins of the project and his first meeting with Dylan.
