Depression-era drifters Clyde Barrow (Warren Beatty) and Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway) embark on a life of crime; craving adventure and each other. Audiences in 1967 were unprepared for the cascading violence that would follow, and when they learned the duo could be hurt, they dreaded they could be killed.
