It was scanned at 4K resolution, and later restored and color corrected using a variety of sources as reference. The restoration was done by our team member @Tanks404 (https://twitter.com/tanks404), with some help and supervision by @Quazza97 (https://twitter.com/Quazza97). While this film was animated using Disney's digital CAPS animation system, the film would have been distributed on 35mm prints on its theatrical run. Unfortunately the trailer was beginning to fade, some parts worse than others, but there was enough data left to do a decent color correction. The trailer was featured on the anniversary DVD so it was used as a reference, but was too dark to take colors from directly. Colors were approximated by referencing the DVD trailer and VHS captures.
