A young boy named “MK”, who is obsessed with the old legends, discovers Monkey King’s staff that was left on top of a hill to imprison the Demon Bull King. After Demon Bull King is released, MK must go on a journey of self-discovery to become the hero this generation needs. Through trial and tribulation, MK will discover new powers, responsibilities and ways of defeating the villains in this futuristic world.

The ancient and evil Spider Queen emerges from her lair. With the help of a "shadowy" figure, the Spider Queen is supercharged, using her power to capture Monkey King and Demon Bull King. It's up to MK and his team to track down ingredients for an antidote to cure the citizens and free the city.

The Lady Bone Demon is close to complete her final plan to achieve her destiny! With the heroes scattered, things look grim for MK and his friends. It's up to him to reunite the team and take the fight back to the Lady Bone Demon. With the fate of the world in the balance, the heroes will need to embrace their destiny if they're going to stand a chance to save the universe!

MK and the other heroes must embrace their ancestral powers if they've any hope to stop the New Jade Emperor before he tears the whole universe apart!
