Believing they have too much togetherness, Jordan and Julie plan some time apart. Jordan drags Sebastian and A.J. to a bar against their wills, where Sebastian tries to stop A.J. from asking Stacy out. Meanwhile, Julie stays home and tries to watch a tape of The Mask of Zorro, but only succeeds in getting her hand stuck in the VCR.

Two counselors, the authors of a book titled ""Till Death Do Us Partner,"" monitor Julie and Jordan's work relationship. Meanwhile, Stacy decides that she and Sebastian need ""rules"" for keeping their personal relationship a secret at work.
